It was a desire by the author in the writing of this love adventure novel, to show there is more out there than lust and sex. The original story is now being developed into a series of four books involving the protagonist and his love partner. The theme revolves around how vulnerability is the most important ingredient in a trusting, intimate relationship, where it helps to ask for what we want, while stonewalling only distance ourselves from our partner's interest. It allows us opportunity to build trust in others by engaging in the intimacy of a relationship while being vulnerable, allows us to open our heart to give and receive love.
